The days of computer clubs being for NERDS is long gone. Your computer is more that a machine for writing letters - nowadays it is an important family or personal possession. It is used for music, scanning family photos, sending photos to family abroad via email, scanning valuables for insurance purposes, tracing family roots. The list is never ending, come along and learn what it can do and enjoy yourself at the same time.

We meet every two weeks at friendly club premises; hot and cold drinks are available and if you fancy a 'pint' it can be obtained from the attached licensed premises.  We connect up to the Internet, often networking 5 or more machines together, and cater for all types of computers including games machines. We are able to offer advice for a wide range of computing interests. Many members bring their machines along whereas others attend for the 'social atmosphere'.

Excellent age range, teens to senior citizens (Who said computers were for the young only), many older persons find it an excellent medium to keep in touch and exchange photos with relatives scattered across the world. Actually 'Speak' (real voice) to friends and relatives in the States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or anywhere for the price of a local call.
